Tiny dew drops on dawn’s lightly frosted leaves provide the inspiration for this glistening silver metal clay pendant. The leaf texture is created in a very special way and the dew drops are made of tiny bits of dichroic glass that are permanently bonded to the silver. $75 kit includes: : 14g Art Clay Silver 650; use of Art Clay Silver 650 syringe and Overlay paste; dichroic glass dewdrops; leaf texture; sanding sponges; silk crinkle ribbon; use of dowels and consumables. Supplies to bring: Basic metal clay tool kit, rubber block, lubricant, craft knife, brass brush, pencil-style brass brush, tweezers. Required supplies will be available for purchase in class.

Beautiful bubbles of boro are what this class is all about. Take advantage of the many colors and finishes available in these drop beads to make it suit you. The virtually unlimited combinations of beads will inspire your creativity and allow you to make a truly unique pieces of jewelry. The chunky style makes a bold statement, while the large beads make it stitch up quickly. A jumbo drop bead makes a beautiful, easy button-style closure. $75 kit includes: mat and shiny boro teardrop beads, jumbo teardrop button, magic seed beads, cord and needle. Evocative of what a mermaid princess might create for herself out of shells and pearls, this necklace is something that you can make to feel a little regal. Each of the five different available color palettes combines beautifully with lustrous giant pearls for a striking look. $75 kit includes: Six sizes and colors of seed beads, 4 sizes of Swarovski pearls, Czech glass teardrops, wire, OneG thread. This irresistible metal clay flip-style pendant is fun to wear and draws lots of attention. The first “page” features a peek-a-boo lock design, the second is double-sided with words of love on one side and a vintage lace texture on the other. Akin to a modern-day locket, a hidden photograph encased in resin is the wonderful surprise on the third. A array of techniques will be covered over the course of this two-day workshop: making syringe walls, sawing greenware, rainbow patinas and curing resin with hand-rolled hinges as the main technique. You’ll be able to mix-and-match pages easily to change the look of this endearing pendant. This stunning silver metal clay pendant reminiscent of a family crest features a visually seamless embedded wire bezel surrounding a colorful natural cabochon--an essential metal clay skill to master. Decorative cones and caps are the perfect way to customize your unique jewelry creations (either as silver focal pieces or as embellishments for beaded works), and metal clay is the perfect material to make them. Students will design a pair of fine-silver cones that suit their personal style as well as a pair of bold caps that would be perfect to finish off a bead crochet or kumihimo rope and a matching s-hook clasp. $130 kit includes: 25g Art Clay Silver 650; use of Art Clay Silver 650 syringe and paste; circle cutter set; use of clay forms, rubber stamps, freezer paper, extruder, and consumables. Supplies to bring: Basic metal clay tool kit, rubber block, ball-tipped stylus, craft knife, ruler, lubricant, silicone shaping tool, snake roller, brass brush. Optional: rubber stamps, stainless steel extruder with disks. Required supplies will be available for purchase in class.
